Classic Bahnstormers

Classic Bahnstormers is a BMW specialist that sells, services and restores classic BMWs from the 1970s to the 1990s.

The goal.

Rebuild the Classic Bahnstormers website to better reflect the quality, reputation and specialist knowledge behind the business.

After years of managing their social media and helping grow a highly engaged audience of classic BMW owners, the next step was to create a website that could support the business long-term.

The goal was to move from a smaller Squarespace website to a more detailed, content-led Wix Studio website with clearer pages for servicing, restoration, sales, workshop videos and customer enquiries.

The new site needed to feel more premium, make better use of photography and video, and give potential customers a stronger understanding of the workshop, the team, and the type of classic BMW projects they take on.

The strategy.

We rebuilt the Classic Bahnstormers website from Squarespace to Wix Studio, creating a more modern, structured and content-heavy website around the services they offer.

Instead of building a simple brochure site, we created a website with clearer page structure, more service-specific content, stronger calls to action, and a better customer journey for people looking to service, restore, buy or sell a classic BMW.

A key part of the project was advising Classic Bahnstormers on the content they needed before the website could be built properly. We helped guide the types of content shoots required, including workshop photography, team photos, restoration imagery, servicing content, vehicle details, customer project assets and video-led content.

This gave the website a stronger foundation and meant the design could be built around real, high-quality assets rather than generic stock imagery or thin website copy.

The new site was designed to be much more useful for both customers and search engines. We built out dedicated pages for key services such as servicing, restoration, videos, news and cars sold, giving Classic Bahnstormers more opportunities to explain what they do and showcase their expertise.

The content also helps the website stay modern for years to come. With a stronger structure, clearer service pages, FAQs, testimonials, project-led content and video sections, the site is better positioned for traditional SEO and AI search, where clear, detailed, helpful content is becoming increasingly important.

Alongside the website rebuild, we have continued to support Classic Bahnstormers through social media management, Meta advertising and editorial coverage in relevant automotive media. This wider activity helped strengthen the brand before the website rebuild, giving the new site a much stronger platform to build from.

The results.

Classic Bahnstormers now has a more professional, content-led website that better reflects its reputation as a specialist in classic BMW servicing, restoration and sales.

The new Wix Studio website gives potential customers a clearer understanding of the business, the workshop, the team, the services available, and the quality of the work carried out.

By moving from a smaller Squarespace site to a more detailed website, Classic Bahnstormers now has a stronger online presence that can support organic search, customer education and future content growth.

The website also gives the business a better platform for enquiries, with clearer calls to action for customers looking to get a quote, sell a BMW, watch workshop videos or learn more about past projects.

Combined with years of social media management, Meta advertising and targeted editorial coverage, the website rebuild has helped create a more complete digital presence for one of the UK’s leading classic BMW specialists.
